Fun Facts

I love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy reading and watching television when I have time. The places I've traveled to were Georgia, Tallahassee, Tampa, Orlando and Dominican Republic. That is the most traveling I have done. My dream goal is to travel and see the world.

About Me

I am a very compassionate, kind, and patient person. I'm married with one son. I had my son on February 2016. I've been married for 7 years.

I attended Florida Atlantic University and I graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education. I am a teacher at Sheridan Hills Elementary.

My tutoring approach is learning the concerns of the child, parent and teacher. I guide students to achieving their goals. I find materials and lessons to help improve or enhance skills.

Experience

I've been to many schools and spent many hours preparing, teaching, tutoring and mentoring students. The goal was to help the students improve or enhance their learning skills. I've worked with students in a group and one on one sessions. While volunteering at the schools, I had prepared and taught lessons in reading, writing, and math. Alongside that, I had worked for two tutoring companies for two years. I've prepared reports, test, and submitted progress reports to show students progress.

Approach

In 9th grade, my teacher teaching methods were to have the lessons relate to us and spent time explaining to make certain we understand. As a tutor, I've applied the same method and seen success. I would review the material until he/she is confident with the knowledge. My goal is to have the students apply what he/she learns to other subjects
