About Me

My name is Hunter, I'm 21 years old, and I'm happily pursuing a B.S. in Environmental Science at UCLA. I plan to work as an analyst for a consulting firm after graduation. I love people, sports, and learning.

I've worked as a tutor on and off for the past four years, and was a mentor to a middle school student while in high school for two years. I've tutored a wide range of subjects, from the SAT, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Statistics, Spanish, Writing, and History. I received a 2250 on my SAT in high school, so I feel very comfortable tutoring that.

My approach is tailored to the needs of the student. I work at the pace that the student feels most comfortable with, but I don't make the learning process necessarily easy. In other words, I won't just tell the student the answer. I will help him or her to understand how to best achieve it.
