Hi there I'm Kim! One thing i like to do in my spare time is watch history documentaries. I love history and I speand a lot of my time looking up random facts and brushing up on historical events. I also enjoy playing piano and watching baseball !
About Me
I am junior Political Sciene and Philosophy major at hall-university">Seton Hall University. I've made the deans list every semester except one and when i graduate I hope to attend law school at NYU. My ultimate goal is to become partner in a law firm and maybe one day become a judge.
Experience
I worked for one year at Eye Level Tutoring Center in Summit, NJ. I tutored students of all ages in all different subjects. My areas of expertise are History, English, and Spanish.
Approach
At the tutoring center I previously worked most of my students spent all morning at school and then came directly to the center afterwards to do more work. As a student myself, I understand that it is difficult to go through 10+ hours of learning and remain focused throughout the whole time. So I hope to make tutoring more fun so that the students do not feel as if they are going through another hour of school. I teach as if I am telling a story and I like discussions with my students.

I toke English honors in my highschool and took many writing electives. I recieved 97% or higher in all my high school English classes.
Spanish I Tutoring
I skipped Spanish I in highshool and was placed in an advance level class. I am a native speaker and therfore I am fluid in the langunage and can read and write.

I am huge history buff and love this subject. I took honor History classes in high school and I never recieved a grade lower than a 95%. American and World history are my areas of expertise.
Homework Coach Tutoring
I previously worked at a tutoring center and the students would come after school and it would be my job to look over them as they do thier homework and assit them with any question they had. The students usually felt much more motivated when they have someone helping them and supporting them.

Social Studies goes hand in hand with History, which is one of my favorite subjects to teach. I worked with students at previous jobs with this subject and always found that the students enjoy it when the subjects are taught as stories and Social Studies is one of those subjects that can be very interactive.
