If I could be any animal, I would be a hawk so I could see the world.

I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, fishing, boating, snowboarding, and spending time with my dog, Grace.

I have been playing lacrosse for over 15 years.

About Me

I have had multiple connecticut/new-haven">tutoring opportunities through clinical practices of reading, where I tutored underprivileged first grade students who found reading challenging. During the school year (August - June), I am currently a Response to Intervention instructional paraprofessional. In this educating role, I connecticut/new-haven">tutor a fourth grade Mandarin Chinese student, who is learning English as a Second Language.

I believe a great educator, is an individual who is a leader, learner, and teacher. Since every individual prefers to learn a certain way (i.e. visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile), it is vital to teach an individual the way he or she prefers to learn. This ultimately makes learning enjoyable and meaningful, while motivating the individual. When assessing a learner, it is important to assess through both formal and informal assessments.
