Fun Facts

I love learning a variety of subjects and picking up different hobbies. Most recently, I learned Kendo, became a licensed scuba diver, and got rated as a USCF chess player. I also enjoy playing video games such as super smash bros melee and stardew valley.

About Me

I am a senior at Boston University majoring in Chemistry: Biochemistry with a minor in Biology. I'm studying to apply to medical school, and aim to one day have my own private practice. I'm currently conducting independent research in organic chemistry at Boston University and hope to publish a journal article before graduating.

Experience

I've been tutoring students in a variety of subject since junior year of high school. I've taught mostly high school level students in AP Chemistry and AP biology as well as SAT Verbal/Math. I've also tutored a few college students in organic chemistry and general biology.

Approach

I always learned well with a teacher who knew how to ask the right questions. I believe that the correct questions can guide students to think about topics differently. I think that a knowledgeable, encouraging teacher can help any student master any subject and that is the mentality I bring to every session. After nearly finishing my college degree, I have learned how to optimize my studying and get more out of my time spent studying. These are the skills I hope to teach in addition to content.
