Fun Facts
I am a huge fan of sports and love watching and playing sports. Sports is a passion for me and I use up most of my free time to engage myself in this activity. Particularly, I am fond of basketball and love the NBA. Furthermore, I am enthusiastic about movies and make it a point to watch movies on the first day they release. Lastly, I love music and dancing although I am terrible at both.
About Me
I am a graduate from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Additionally, I have a minor in Business Studies as I love startups. My ultimate goal is to become a venture capitalist and make an impact in this world.
Experience
In my high school, I was a shadow teacher for Math, French, and Physics. A shadow teacher's role would be to teach the class bi-weekly in order to develop leadership skills. We would get the syllabus of the professor and prepare the lecture beforehand and assign homework to the students. Furthermore, in UCSD I was a Tutor and Mentor for the Summer Academy program in the MATH and ECE Department which was a program designed for incoming transfer students.
Approach
I was initially weak in the subjects I taught and struggled tremendously. But, gradually over time I taught myself how to learn everything using external sources. However, I have had great teachers who have taught me as a friend and always explained that teaching me is an art. Hence as a tutor, I sit patiently with the students and don't just give them the answer. I teach them the process of how to solve a problem and host a doubt session at the end of each week.
