About Me
I am currently a Sophomore at Clovis Community College majoring in Biology. I've been taking college classes while I was in high school to help finish my General Education classes faster, and hopefully, transfer into a UC school.
Experience
I am a graduate from Clovis North High School. I am currently working in my college as a Student Ambassador, where I have the opportunity to help many students in various scopes of focus. I have been tutoring students for almost 4 years now. My strengths encompass English and Reading Comprehension. I'm glad to be given the opportunity to pass on my knowledge to those willing to learn and benefit from it.
Approach
As a student, I have experienced first hand the new system of teaching under Common Core. I feel my experiences give me an advantage in tutoring students because I understand how frustrating a new system of education can be. By guiding students to understand and to analyze what they are doing, I know I can help mediate them towards advancing their education in a positive and effective manner.

I have taken critical reading and writing courses and received high A's in both my college and high school. In addition, being former student gives me first hand experience in order to effectively engage students to understand the subject better.

I have taken 4 years of Spanish courses in my high school. I have also passed the Nation Colleg Board examination for AP Spanish. I am a nationally certified bilinguist in the languages of Spanish and English.
