Fun Facts
I am passionate about helping people and spend a great deal of my time volunteering with the non profit I created, Fighting Pancreatic Cancer. Along with volunteering I really enjoy sports, fitness and movies. I am also a thrill seeker and love to travel.
About Me
I am a native Arizona resident pursing a degree at Arizona State University in both Supply Chain Management and Marketing with an anticipated graduation date of May 2014. This summer I am working for Boeing in washington/seattle">Seattle, WA to continue and grow as an aspiring business professional. After graduation, I hope to work for a major consulting firm within their strategy and operations department.
In the past I have had tremendous opportunities to hold phoenix">tutoring workshops for business and mathematics classes in both college and high school. I have gone back to my high school to help current students in the business department and have lead multiple study groups with university peers. I have been asked by the associate dean of the business school to also be a part of WP Carey's phoenix">tutoring department based on my proactive support of classmates.
My teaching approach stems from the best practices I have become accustomed to as both a student being taught and as a phoenix">tutor teaching others. The ability to break down material in a way that a student understands is my first priority, which depends on their individual learning style. In the past, I have been able to learn what these roadblocks may be for each student and have been able to work around or through them in order to aid in their success.
