Fun Facts
One thing that people instantly know about me is that I love sports and being active and I am currently a Division 1 Women's Soccer player. I also love to play the piano and explore New York City and test out new foods.
About Me
I am a Sophomore with Junior Status who is majoring in Finance at St. John's University. I currently have a 4.0 GPA in the Honors program and I have been honored to be inducted into the National Society Leadership of Success, SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunities) EDGE, and Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society. I hope to be able to pursue a corporate finance position in a major athletic company such as Under Armour, Nike, or Adidas.
Experience
I began tutoring as a high school student when I was inducted into the National Honors Society. To fill my community service hours, I began tutoring my fellow classmates in Algebra and Algebra II. I also began tutoring an 8th grader in Algebra. In college, I began to assist my fellow teammates in College Algebra. I also tutored my fellow classmates in Accounting, and I was able to boost her test grade a full letter grade. I truly love assisting students see success in the classroom.
Approach
As a child, I struggled tremendously in school and I was threatened to be pushed back a grade in the 4th grade. But through a tenacious work ethic and from assistance from my family, I was able to find success in the classroom and finish high school as Salutatorian and maintain a 4.0 GPA in college. I believe the best way to learn is to break down concepts in a language that can be easily understood and relatable to a person's life. I want to make learning as enjoyable as possible!

College Algebra Tutoring
I have had the opportunity to assists my fellow teammates in College Algebra. I was able to break down the concepts into a simpler manner and teach them tricks to remember how to solve formulas. I completed all of my math prerequisites in high school with and A and I am an active member in the math club at St. John's University.
Algebra Tutoring
While I was a senior in high school, I have had the opportunity to help my fellow classmates enhance their knowledge in Algebra. I was patient and thought of ways to break down the concepts that would make sense to that individual student. I completed Algebra in middle school with an A, and Algebra II in high school with a A.
Math Tutoring
In high school, I received an A in every math class I took including Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus. I completed Algebra I in Middle School and I received and A in the class. I love math and I have participated in the math club in both high school and college. I also have had experience helping my fellow classmates in math.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
As a High School Senior, I have had the opportunity to assist my fellow classmates in Pre Algebra as well as Algebra. I received an A in every math class I have taken in high school and I also was able to tutor a middle school student in Algebra. I was able to break down the concepts to a simpler form for to understand and I look forward to helping more students in the future.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I have always had a true passion for math and I have always been in the top percentile of all of my math classes. I finished all of me prerequisites of math in high school and I received an A in all of my classes including Geometry, Algebra II, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I've had experience tutoring students in math at the middle school, high school, and college level and I look forward to also being able to aid elementary students in math.
