Because I am a Chinese, I experienced my differences and culture shock during studying abroad in the U.S. But I overcome the difficulties and try to be better now.

About Me

I am a freshman Finance major at Tulane University. I apply this because I want to get more opportunities to broaden my horizon and enrich my experience.

Experience

I have taught Chinese and English in high school as a part time job. And as an international, not only can I speak fluent Chinese, but also will combine the Chinese and American way to teaching and tell students how to learn effectively.

Approach

From primary school to now, I am always positive, patient and skillful. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. I will lead the student to learn, help them find their own ways of learning instead of telling them directly. I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes
