Math Tutoring

I took Pre-Algebra and Algebra I in middle school. I did very well for both, and later succeeded in high school. I understand the concepts well and have previously tutored with math when I was in high school through National Honors Society.

Education Tutoring

I am an Education Major. I've taken 2 education courses and got an A in both, and am currently enrolled in 3 education courses, confident I will manage high grades as well. I understand all major concepts of education and could be helpful in guiding strategies of learning, educational psychology, and current news in regards to education.

English Tutoring

In college I have taken Intro to Discipline of English and American Literature, but in high school I took American, World, and British Literature. I got a 31 on my reading and english portion of the ACT. I've never received less than an A in English, and never received less than a B on a paper. I am a valuable resource when it comes to writing, because I'm picky about grammar rules and a great editor overall.

Literature Tutoring

In college I've taken American Literature, and studied poems and novels in Intro to the Discipline of English as well. In high school I took American, British, and World Literature, and found all the books I read to be inspiring works. I enjoy reading a lot, and know many tricks for understanding novels on deeper levels, along with how to make connections for preparing to write a paper.

Psychology Tutoring

In high school I took Intro to psychology, AP Psychology, and Sociology. I got A's in all 3 courses. In college, I'm currently taking an Education course on how the brain learns, specifically the special needs brain, and I love it. I help my younger sister, current AP Psych student with her homework very often, so I am already good at breaking down ideas and making them clearer to students.

Religion Tutoring

I went through Lutheran sunday school as a child. I went through Lutheran church education courses in middle school. I went to Catholic high school, and was required to study Old and New Testament, the Catholic Sacraments, Catholic stance on morality, Catholic social justice stances, Catholic church history, and history of women in Catholic faith. Received A's in all subjects. I understand Lutherans and Catholics very well, and even taught sunday school to kids so I have experience.

Sociology Tutoring

Took AP Psychology, intro to psychology, and a sociology course in high school. Received A's in all of them. Understand many concepts and could break down big ideas to make them clearer for a student.

I have a passion for understanding politics and government. My government teacher in high school was the best there was, and it taught me well. I received an A in the class, and have tutored for it through National Honors Society.

I took piano for 7 years, and currently help my mother teach piano to her students. I tutored one of her students weekly, and she showed progress. I played the oboe for 3 years. I sang in a choir for 3 years. I can read and teach basic music comprehension and technique for voice, piano, and oboe.

I played oboe for 3 years. I can read and translate music. I know basic technique and formation.

Piano Tutoring
