I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with my Masters in Robotics.
Experience
My mom is a teacher and while I was in high school I would often help teach her kids mathematics in my free time. Also, during my graduate years I taught Fluid Mechanics Lab to undergraduate Mechanical Engineering students.
Approach
I think it is important to identify the root cause of why a child or person is struggling with a concept and then develop questions and exercises that adjust their perspective in a way so that the problem becomes clear.
