I am originally from Arizona.
I lived on a Native American Reservation for 8 years of my life.
My father is adopted.
My favorite foods are cereal and ice cream!
I have played soccer against players who are now on the Women's National Team & won the Olympic Gold Medal in 2012.

About Me

I am an energetic and intelligent college student who enjoys running, reading, playing soccer, longboarding, playing frisbee on the beach, and doing arts and crafts. With my lighthearted and easy-going personality, I am easy to get along with and keep a conversation flowing. If I could have one extra hour every day to do one activity of my choice, I would choose to go for a long bike ride along the Lakefront Trail!

My pervious tutoring experience includes informal tutoring for my friends and classmates. I am interested in tutoring in a more formal environment and on a more regular basis than I have in the past. I have tutored my fellow classmates mainly in math and science, since those are my strongest subjects.

I believe that everyone learns in a different way, so there is not a specific approach that will work with every student. As an experienced babysitter, I have learned that patience is central in relating to others, especially when teaching them something that they may not understand. I am encouraging and uplifting in explaining different ways to work through the material, so that I ensure the student understands the subject matter.
