About Me
I am a senior Econ and Math major at Northwestern. I have been on the Dean's List each year, and I have a cumulative 3.9 GPA. I am currently finishing up a certificate with Kellogg in Financial Economics, which will conclude in the spring. From there, I will enter the finance industry starting after graduation, in the summer. Additionally, over the past I have been very involved with tutoring opportunities and hope to continue in the future.
Experience
I have a lot of experience tutoring, both in paid and unpaid positions. Throughout high school, I consistently tutored people in a variety of subjects. In college, I joined a mentoring club where I worked individually with students. Also, I have offered private tutoring services.
Approach
My approach is very deliberate, and I take pride in knowing that the student I'm working with will truly understand the subject material. That being said, rather than just going through problems and focusing entirely on arriving at the answer, I like to introduce students to the big-picture ideas and then have them apply it to the problems. This approach gives them a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the material.
