Fun Facts
The two things I enjoy most in life are sports and healthcare! I have played baseball, football, and basketball since I was 5 years old, and still play them in college. Not only do love to play sports, but watching football (especially the longhorns) is one of my favorite activities. As for healthcare, I am currently an officer in Global Medical Training at UT Austin. I have organized trips to Peru, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and more!
About Me
I am a sophomore Biology major at the University of Texas at Austin. When I graduate, I hope to attend medical school (at Dell in Austin ideally)! My ultimate goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon to help young athletes bounce back from major injuries as quickly as possible!
Experience
I tutored middle school children for multiple years while I was in high school. I mainly focus on math and science subjects as those are my strongest areas. With Frog Tutoring, I hope to get back to working with students in these subjects. I love helping others become as interested in the topics as I am!
Approach
Everyone has a different learning style, and my goal during the first session is to understand what style that is for the student. Once I have identified that learning style (such as a visual learner), I will focus on teaching in that manner. However, I believe that the best way to grasp a topic is through practice. I have found that guided repetition leads students to understand the content very quickly!
