I am an outdoors person who enjoys sports. I played high school football and volleyball. I also played rugby while in college. I also enjoy all types of game genres to include video, card, and board. I played a ccg called magic the gathering for over 20 years.

About Me

I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics Esucation from SUNY Fredonia in NY. I am currently a student at UNCC in the Civil Engineering program. I have a 3.5 gpa. When i graduate i plan to get my professional engineers license. I have a wife, two children and two dogs.

Experience

While attending college I have had many experiences tutoring. The subjects I have tutored range from algebra to calculus. I also have had experience teaching in the middle and high schools as a mathematics teacher. The range of subjects taught were from applied math to calculus. I continue today mentoring and assisting fellow classmates with their studies at UNCC.

Approach

I am a firm believer in multiple intelligences. I have seen first hand how students learn through my experiences tutoring and teaching. I take some time finding out which intelligences students learn best from. I then taylor my teaching style to those intelligences. As a life long learner I also try to instill into students the ideal that learning is something that we should strive to do on a daily basis and for life.
