About Me
I graduated from Duquesne University in 2013 with a GPA of 3.5 in International Relations with a minor in Economics. I'm starting my Master's degree in the Fall at American University. I would like to one day work for the State Department or some agency that will deal with both my interest in Europe and Trade.
I have tutored since November 2012. I worked for a public school in my city in helped washington-dc">tutor in all subjects. I have also helped washington-dc">tutor a summer school program this summer where I had gained more experience in teaching, as well as, washington-dc">tutoring.
I like to use reasoning when there are multiple choice answers and have the kids eliminate all the answers that do not make sense. For open-ended problems, I help teach the procedure of how to complete the problem then have them try it themselves. For fact-related questions, I try to explain what the event, date, or word is and then see if I can help reason them through the answers.
