About Me
I am a History and International Studies major at Emory. I love learning languages, and have learned much of what I know in Spanish and Hebrew through studying on my own. I plan on attending a teacher's college once I graduate and get a specialty in educational psychology, focusing on gifted education for children and adolescents, and educational leadership accreditation, because one day I would love to be a principal of a school!
Throughout my college career, I have nurtured my love of education through volunteering with several programs to help children overcome their hardships to understanding basic school skills like reading and writing. At my former school, New York University, I was able to participate in a program called GOProjectNYC in which I tutored kids after school and Saturday mornings to improve their skills in reading, writing, and math. These children were economically disadvantaged children from all over Manhattan, and I considered it a privilege to atlanta">tutor them every week.
I want to be a atlanta">tutor because I believe children need individualized attention to overcome their problems with the subjects of studies that do not come naturally to them. I think that because FrogTutor atlanta">tutors children in a familiar environment, and in and program of study designed for their specific needs, the program would suit my similar perspective that I have accrued through my atlanta">tutoring experience.
