Fun Facts
I am passionate about learning and exploring different countries. I have traveled to several countries, including Turkey, England, Spain and France, and also lived in others, including Mexico, China, and the Republic of Georgia. When I am not exploring a new city, I am reading historical fiction novels or spending time with my family, which includes my 6 nieces and nephews.
About Me
I am an experienced educator with a K-12 Professional Education License in Illinois that allows me to teach Spanish and Social Sciences.
Experience
I have taught all Spanish levels in two different high schools, worked with ESL students in K-8 settings, and taught English to young children and professionals in China, the Republic of Georgia and Mexico City. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University.
Approach
I am a firm believer that students learn by doing. When working with students, I make sure to design lesson plans that fit their individual needs and that I incorporate activities that keep my students active.
