I am a 3rd Degree Black Belt in ATA Taekwondo. I have 10 brothers and sisters. I love reading anything from history to fiction.

About Me

I grew up home-schooled, so I am used to one-on-one communication and learning. I was top of my class in community college, graduating with honors in the field of Mathematics. I am currently studying Business Management at Grand Canyon University, hoping to own my own business one day.

Although I do not have official phoenix">tutoring experience, throughout high school and college I would help classmates and friends with their homework, making sure they can succeed in school. I am an assistant instructor at Lake Havasu Black Belt Academy in my hometown of Lake Havasu City, AZ which means I have good communication skills and have been able to teach students of all ages. (toddlers through mature adult.) Although my experience is with martial arts and not education, I feel I can adequately perform phoenix">tutoring duties.

Many students learn differently, although all can be taught something new. My approach is to come to the student believing they can succeed without me, my job is to help make it easier. In my Martial Arts teaching I like to give the students something to show off, where I can see what they are good at and what they need work on. This helps build rapport and trust between us. I am patient and enthusiastic, believing in the student I am working with.
