Fun Facts
One major thing I love doing is helping people. This is the major reason why I chose to be a Biomedical engineering major. I want to create things that will help more than one person at a time. I love going to church. I also love travelling. I've been to Dubai, Nigeria, Ghana, Italy, and some other states in America. I have two younger brothers. I am an Honor 'Society student.
About Me
I am a sophomore Biomedical engineering major at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I've been on both the Dean's and Presidents list. When I graduate, I plan to do some research, then earn a Masters Degree. My ultimate goal is to establish my engineering firm targeted at providing ways for certain parts of the body to heal on its own.
Experience
As a Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) fellow, I was given the opportunity to tutor some STEM affiliated middle school students. It was a great opportunity for me, I was able to relate and mentor students. I learned a lot from and about them. I also had the opportunity to tutor some children at church. As a Frog tutor, I have the opportunity to teach and mentor more children.
Approach
I had always wanted to become a doctor, when I was younger because of my love for helping people. However, tables turned during my firtst year in college. I decided to change my major. Several factors caused me to change my major, but I changed it mostly because I wanted to challenge myself more. As a tutor, I attempt to teach students effective ways to challenge themselves and become excellent in every aspect of their lives
