I love to travel and learn new things. If I can combine these two passions, I'm thrilled. I have traveled to Europe for pleasure and for music, meaning, I was lucky enough to play flute in a 300 piece traveling band. Next adventure: learning to scuba dive in Hawaii.

About Me

My goal when I was a child was to become a teacher. I have accomplished that and am currently setting myself up for the future by pursuing my masters degree in educational leadership (to become a principal). During this time I am finding opportunities to better myself as an educator and leader.

Experience

As a 6th grade math teacher I have three years of experience teaching algebra/colorado/denver">pre algebra and algebra. I am highly qualified to teach 5-9th grade math.

I am currently self teaching calculs to sharpen my own math skills and potential.

Approach

I am able to make math concepts memorable by giving the background and philosophy of numbers and operations. I also make numbers stick by giving calculations and math rules personality and characterization. Math is life and people more than you think.
