I have over 100 first cousins, which many people are amazed by.
About Me
I am currently a senior at wayne-state-university">Wayne State University majoring in Biological sciences-honors. I am applying to medical school this year and would love to pass down any knowledge I can. I am currently a volunteer at Children's Hospital of Michigan where I get to work alongside patients and help them through their healing process. A word that would describe me is outgoing. I get along with people well and try to make others as comfortable as possible around me. I am goal oriented and motivated, and hopefully I can help instill some of my positive attributes in others. I understand what its like to not understand something, and that everyone learns in a different way and at a different pace.

I love those children and nothing made me smile like seeing their faces light up when they were making progress. I also help children at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit with homework when they are admitted for lengthy periods.
Depending on the grade level, subject, and individual I am detroit">tutoring, I have a different style for each. There is no single approach that works for everyone and so I like to get to know the person I am detroit">tutoring first. I put myself in their shoes and this is easy for me, because I have been on the other side where I have been the one tutored. I listen to what they need from me and work my lesson plan around their needs. For example, I have tutored young children who cant sit for more than 15 minutes at a time, and so every 15 minutes I would allow them to do 10 jumping jacks or draw on a marker board for a few minutes before I continue
