Fun Facts
I am high energy Engineering and Architecture professional with a passion for learning new things. I am a traveler, hike, golf and tennis player.
I have a YouTube channel with short music videos about my adventures around the world. Anywhere from China to Colorado to Mexico. My goal is to get as many gorgeous places on video as I can, so that others can enjoy them with me.
Both my parents are teachers. My dad teaches Pre-K, and my mother is teachers teaching coach.
I also play the piano :)
About Me
I am a Mechanical Engineer and Interior Designer with experience in architectural design as well as mechanical equipment development and testing. I graduated as an Academic Excellence Scholar with a full ride from UT Dallas, where I also played for the tennis team, and coached the golf club.
My dream is to one day become the Dean of Students at a University.
Experience
During my time at UTD I founded a small tutoring center around Physics, calculus and general math. It was a way to have extra revenue, while also doing something that I love. I plan to in the future get a masters in science/california/sunnyvale">Computer Science and work towards a PhD. I look forward to helping students understand STEM concepts from all age ranges. I am passionate about my profession and want the oportunity to share my love for science with others.
Approach
I believe in understanding over memorization. My approach to teaching has always been to convey the exciting applications most of these concepts have. I believe if an individual (child or adult) is shown the reason and method behind the ideas then they will more readily understand and interiorize them
