Fun Facts

I can benefit a student because not only am I an easy person to get along with, but also I am young and recently out of college. This is a trait that is often overseen. However, age does matter when trying to charlotte">tutor somebody, especially a student. I am also an active person interested in hobbies such as kayaking, hiking, and cooking.

About Me

I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with an Exercise Science/Pre-Med degree. I have just applied to medical school, but I am taking a gap year in which I would like to pursue charlotte">tutoring. I have been involved in multiple extracurricular activities during my undergrad aiding in skills and personality traits such as determination, empathy, responsibility, and enthusiasm.

As a college graduate, there have been numerous times in which I have tutored a fellow classmate concerning a certain subject. I have been given the opportunity to charlotte">tutor in multiple subject through the university, but due to my busy schedule I was unable to have a payed position. However, during my undergrad I was invited, applied, and then interviewed to work as a Peer Leader through the university. With this position, I taught twenty college freshmen students, twice a week, throughout the semester about the necessities of obtaining a high GPA, resources around the campus, study skills, and non-academic goals.

My approach is simple. Patience and support is key. However, repeating and revising various tasks or methods is the best way to learn. Visuals helps me as a learner, and so I do believe that it is also necessary in order to give the utmost learning in a limited time frame.
