Fun Facts

Before the expenses of college, I was well on my way to playing professional paintball. I was a member of Velocity Wrecking Crew based out of San Diego, a team that regularly practiced with one of the world's top professional paintball teams, the Los Angeles Ironmen. Practicing at such a competitive level was too expensive for me to continue with my passion while attending school full time.

About Me

I am a senior at UCSD who is very passionate about learning. I plan on attending grad school, where I very much look forward to being a Teaching Assistant. I enjoy the feeling of being able to help someone, especially in mathematics. Outside of school I am a very relaxed individual who enjoys reading, surfing, basketball, football, among many other activities.

I have only tutored informally upon my hiring at Frog Tutoring, and almost exclusively in math. I have helped friends and classmates through their math classes with high praise from nearly everyone I have assisted. I am constantly helping peers in my current classes.

I don't have a single approach to tutoring. Every student is different, including myself, and learning how each student learns is a huge emphasis of mine. Once a specific style of learning is acknowledged, I emphasize the basics using that style. This leads to a more full understanding of every topic.
