Fun facts about me: I am the type of person that sees the glass half full! I try to make the best of situations in life. I am the baby of 4 siblings and I am a young Aunt of 7 nieces and nephews. My biggest passion in life is caring for others! It brings me happiness and a very rewarding feeling! I am very enthusiastic and adventurous, yet I am focused on what I want in life. I love to try new things from traveling to food, and meeting new people!
About Me
I am a senior in Nursing School and will be graduating with my RN, BSN degree this summer! I have been on the Deans list every semester and thrive on being the best I can be. I live for thrilling and challenging things, and this is why I aspire to be a trauma nurse one day soon! My future goal is to work as a Registered Nurse for 2-3 years and then go back to school for my Doctorates degree as a Nurse Practitioner. I look forward to the future ahead!
Experience
I was a nanny for 2 years with 2 elementary school children. At that time I was there tutor/homework coach and really enjoyed helping them progress and succeed in school/life. I also have been tutoring my peers in science, procalc (medication dosage calculations) and NCLEX subjects for the state boards in nursing. With my experience in being a tutor and getting tutored, I know how important it is to find someone a tutor that can be a significant help with challenges in school/life.
Approach
My approach to helping others is a simple and clear approach to try and make the subject at-hand, one that makes sense! I completely understand that every individual has their own way and methods of learning and studying. My initial approach is to always assess what the student believes is the way to understand the subject, and then I try to simplify their way so it is still a comfort zone, but a little different to better understand.

I am currently a Nursing Student, and A&P is a requirement for acceptance in a Bachelor of Science Nursing Program. I obtained an A in each AP I (top of the class) & AP II class. In addition, as a Nursing Student, A&P is a consistent subject utilized and mastered throughout the entire program. Being that I am a Senior now and graduating this summer, I feel very confident in this subject and capable of helping others understand and succeed.

In addition, I was a nanny for 2 elementary students over a span of 2 years and helped them with every subject. I also worked at an elementary school for my Pediatric clinical rotations two semesters ago, and was able to assist the students when I was needed.

NCLEX Tutoring
I am currently a Senior in Nursing School and have been working on NCLEX testing skills and tests for 2 years now. Although I have not taken the NCLEX yet, ( I will be this summer after graduation), my program really prepares us for the NCLEX as our school has a passing rate of over 90%. In addition, the Dean of my program and a couple of professors are on the board of NCLEX and are a part of the test question committee, therefor the program is geared to understand the NCLEX style questions, break them down and answer them properly.
TEAS Tutoring
I am currently a Senior in Nursing School and was required to pass the TEAS to apply for the nursing program. I am prepared to understand the style of questions asked on this exam and able to help and prepare someone with my experience.
