Fun Facts

When I was young my father would take me caving and camping. As a result, I have developed a love for nature and spend a great deal of the summer exploring the great outdoors. Another hobby of mine that is a few notches more exhilarating than camping is cliff diving, which I find a way to do multiple times each summer.

About Me

I graduated from IUPUI with a Spanish Bachelor's Degree, which is from the IU Bloomington Department of the University. After living in Madrid, and visiting various Latin American countries I have come to realize that learning languages as well as teaching them is my purpose. Eventually, I aspire to become a nurse anesthetist and for such have been enrolling in the prerequisite courses for the nursing program at IUPUI.

I have tutored Spanish since high school. Now, for the past 7 years I have provided tutorial classes of some sort. Also, at the university, I was elected final exam leader for exam jams in Spanish Linguistics, Physiology, and Anatomy.

Familiarize with the lesson material, then discuss and engage the student. He or she needs to be interested, otherwise, I have not done my job to peak their thinking. Generally, I'll try to incorporate activities/ways to make material practical (application), and do a lecture component.
