Fun Facts
I'm from Palo Alto in the SF bay area, and I've lived in California my whole life, although I have traveled to 9 other countries. I like puzzles, art, hiking, biking, and trying new food. I am also an aerial circus performer.
About Me
I am a sophomore at the University of San Diego majoring in science/california/san-diego">Computer Science with a minor in Math. My GPA is 3.82 and I am a presidential scholar- an honor given to incoming students, and an industry scholar- an honor given to 15-20 of the most promising first and second year engineering and computing students. I have received first honors every semester of college, and received a 5 on both the AP calculus and AP statistics exams.
Experience
I have been tutoring high school math since my junior year of high school. I was a student teacher in my senior year for freshmen Algebra, and I've worked as a paid private tutor in San Diego for a year and a half. I love working with students and I hope to meet more students that I can help through Frog tutoring.
Approach
I grew up with un-diagnosed ADHD, which made school, especially math, very challenging. When I was finally treated, I had to start from the beginning and learn everything, but through all my hard work I realized how much I loved STEM. I use the same methods that helped me learn when I struggled to help other students, and it has been very successful.
