Fun Facts
Something I do daily is to watch NBA and soccer highlights and/or check scores. I dream of living in the business world as I plan to be a traveling Pharmacist. I plan to live in Texas or North Carolina someday, even though Chicago is so beautiful. I speak French excellently. My young students make me dream of watching my 1yr old daughter grow up. I plan to be her best tutor.
About Me
I have been in Pharmacy school since 2014, and off this semester because of family reason. I'm also a Certified Pharmacy technician since Feb 2017. I'll resume my studies next Fall. I love to tutor my best subjects since grade school where I used to be awarded Best Student prices for Maths, Chemistry, Physics & French, as well as best overall student on several occasions. I have a bachelors in Chemistry, and I resumed my pharmacy education last June 2017.
Experience
I was hired as one of the professional tutors the same semester where I started taking Prepharmacy courses. I have been a tutor since 2012. The syllabus has been the same each year, so I have mastered the Maths, Chemistry and Physics college and high school tutoring overtime.
My students often say I break the Math and Chemistry and make them look so simple. Yes I do, and always do.
Approach
I usually start by testing (in a way) the students level of knowledge. As such, I know where not to keep teaching and explainnng where the student has little foundation or background knowledge. I love to transfer knowledge and encourage people to do well and be better at what they do. I utilise open-ended questions to make studies develop critical thinking, with is so useful during placement exams, such as SAT, ACT for example.
