One of my passion is helping other! I am also into sports, I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old and have been coaching for over 8 years. I love dancing and singing, every though I cant sing to save my life. I love traveling and taking photos also.
About Me
I am s senior at cal state Long beach. I am a double major in Human Development and Africana Studies. I hope to become a Marriage and family therapist.
Experience
I was a member of a upward bound program where I got to help studies with their homework and studying habits. I also have been a volunteer at Boys and Girls club for over 8 years. I love working with children and helping them achieve their goals and helping them understand a concept.
Approach
As a child , I struggled with test and exam and writing. I felt like a failure, until I had to remind myself that everyone fails at something it matters on how I take that reaction. From then on I always try to encourage myself and my students that it is ok to fail, it just means that you are one step closer to full understanding it.
