Fun Facts
My biggest passion in life is working with/for animals, I love volunteering at zoos and animals shelters in my free time. I have an older sister who is providing me with a wonderful nephew in May, and she is my biggest supporter in all of my endeavors. I love to stay active and healthy - I favourite drink is water.
About Me
I am a sophomore at Texas Christian University hoping to complete my BS in Environmental Science in May of 2019. My dream for after school is to work on an animal conservation site or in the education department of a zoo on the east coast!
Experience
As a member of National Honor Society in high school I was given the privilege of tutoring students in the subjects at which I excelled in. I tutored students in all subjects of math, most subjects of science, and helped out in our schools writing center helped students edit, format, and write their English assignments. In college I have tutored students who I taught swim lessons to, along with the children that I babysit periodically.
Approach
As a tutor, I bring positive attitude to all of my sessions and students. I don't believe in giving students the answers, instead I work through problems with them, and work towards helping them achieve content mastery. As a student I always had trouble with my study skills, but through the years with the help of my peers and professors, I have overcome my troubles and wish to leave successful study habits with my students.
