Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I have a menagerie of pets! In my 155 gallon tank that has been transformed into a terrarium ecosystem I have (1) Albino African Dwarf Frog, (4) Fire Bellied Toads, (2) Fire Bellied Newts, (3) Malaysian Geckos, (6) Gray Tree Frogs, (1) Patriot Crab - he's really grumpy, a host of fish, (2) Apple Snails, (3) regular Snails...and a partrige in a pear tree (lol).

About Me

If you have ever seen the movie, "Contagion", I want to be lawrence">Lawrence Fishburne's character when I grow up!

I teach classes at The Community College of maryland/baltimore">Baltimore County. I have more than 8 years scientific research experience.

Science is NOT a bad word. Some of the worlds' most renowned scientists were once young minds whose curiosity got the best of them. Embrace the struggle! I firmly believe that if you make learning fun that students forget they are actually learning something!

Approach

I'm student centered. I like using problem based inquiry as a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring tool to get students to try to find a solution on their own before seeking out the answer key. There is usually more than one way to attack a problem. Let's find what works best for you!
