I have always loved history and sharing what I know with others. I was recently accepted into the Peace Corps as a secondary education teacher. I want to travel the world and teach others as much as I can learn from them.

About Me

I am a UIC graduate with a major in History and minor in Italian studies (language and culture). I can speak Italian fluently and know much about US history and World history. I will be joining the Peace Corps as a secondary education teacher this summer and want to continue teaching after my service.

Experience

I have taken many courses through UIC and done my fair share of projects and exams. I want to help others in the subjects that I know well as my peers helped me in the subjects I struggled in. I graduated with a 3.5 Major GPA which included History, English, and Italian classes. I am also fluent in Italian and have taken some creative as well as academic writing classes.

Approach

I never truly applied myself to my studies until college. I always knew how to retain information for my high school classes but never realized how important my education was until freshman year. Since then I have been trying to stress to others how beneficial an education can be. I want to share my knowledge with them and give them the longing that I have to learn as much as they can.
