I love reading and will any kind of books. I love watching movies and television. I can play the piano, clarinet and hope to one day learn the guitar.
About Me
I am Junior, English Major at Hunter College. I have a 3.1 GPA and a 3.5 major GPA. I hope to attend graduate school and receive my MFA in Creative writing. With my degree I hope to become a screenwriter and a novelist.
Experience
I tutored both privately and as a member of National Honor Society in high school. I tutored in high school for 3 years and helped children with reading and writing. Over the summer I tutored privately and helped a child with Integrated Algebra and English. I have also helped college students with editing essays and other written works. I hope to enhance my skills at Frog Tutoring and to help students with different needs.
Approach
When I was younger I enjoyed learning because the approach my teachers and professors used. While there were subjects that I did not excel at, my teachers still pushed me to do my best and succeed. As a tutor I want to be able to inspire my students to learn. I will not coddle my students but push them the way my teachers pushed me and to inspire them to want to learn and do better. As a tutor you must be a role model for your students always lead them towards success.
