Fun Facts

One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love playing racquetball. Besides this you can find me in local Mall during weekends window shopping.

I was also a runner of cross country and track in high school where I got several prizes in Javelin throw.

About Me

I currently work in defense related Mechanical Engineering field. I have PhD in Mechanical Engineering from VA Tech. My goal is to help students excel in their education.

I currently teach two courses in Engineering Technology at a Community College. My ultimate goal is to become a full time professor in a professional college.

Upon entering college, I was eager to begin working with students again, and volunteered my time teaching small children at the local Elementary school.

Experience

I have 9 years teaching experience teaching college level courses. My strength is teaching Engineering technology and Mechanical Engineering courses to include Math, Physics, Hydraulics & Pneumatic, Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Dynamics and Vibrations etc. I am currently an Adjunct professor at a Community College in Maryland.

Approach

I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
