Fun Facts
Something that everyone finds interesting about me is my middle name. My middle name is Love. My mom told me she named me that because I was such a lovable kid. I was that kid that would ask for bandaids for other kids if I saw they had a boo-boo.
About Me
I am an uprising senior Computer Engineer at the University of New Haven. I've been part of the National Society of Black Engineers for going on 7 years and I held several executive board positions. My plans are to continue college to receive my Masters in Business Management. My goal is to open my own business in creating websites and apps for other businesses and in fixing computers.
Experience
Since my freshman year of college, I've been working through a community work-study positions as a tutor for special need students. I discovered that I enjoy seeing my students finally get the understanding of a subject they been looking for. Working for Frog Tutoring will give me the chance to bring that joy and knowledge to other students.
Approach
When I was a kid, I had trouble in school with learning at the same pace as other students and it caused me to have a low self-esteem. My mother turned that all around with persistence and encouragement. As a tutor, I will applaud every achievement my students make, to let them know that their efforts are not being unnoticed. I will also make sure that my students know the basic knowledge they need for a subject, because the things you learn in the past, are things you need in the future.

Algebra Tutoring
I excelled in algebra since I was in middle school. I never received a grade lower than an A in this subject. In high school, I took a college course of Algebra as well and I passed the course with flying colors.
Algebra II Tutoring
I excelled in algebra since I was in middle school. I never received a grade lower than an A in this subject. In high school, I took a college course of Algebra as well and I passed the course with flying colors.
Geometry Tutoring
I took Geometry in high school as a course. I used numerous methods from Geometry in CAD and I passed this class with an A. While pursuing my degree, I have to take all Calculus classes and Geometry is implemented in that course.

Homework Coach Tutoring
I have a younger brother that I occasionally help his homework. I understand the struggle to get your young one in a routine to do their work. I tell my brother and my students that homework is a way of studying for a test.

I went to a technically high school for Computer aid drafting design. I studied Auto CAD for 3 years and I had to train a fellow classmate of the program when they transferred in. I graduated from high school above a 4.0.

I am qualified to tutor in this subject because I've used this program often for my personal use and for my business. I've also have taken a class specifically about how to use the extra functions and equations that can be used.
Microsoft PowerPoint Tutoring
I am a college student and I've been using this program since I was in elementary and middle school to create presentations.
Microsoft Windows Tutoring
I know how to debug most issues with the window systems. I can tutor people to how to navigate the Microsoft programs as well.
