About Me

I am a junior at Texas Christian University. I have a 4.0 GPA in my major, Spanish, and a 3.98 overall GPA. I am a hard worker but I also like to have fun while I am learning. I love helping others, especially in learning Spanish, because that is truly my passion.

Experience

I have tutored numerous students in Spanish at both the high school and college levels. At Texas Christian University, I am a volunteer dallas">tutor and President of La Mesa Hispánica. I also dallas">tutor high school students at various levels. I have three years of dallas">tutoring experience and have seen a lot of students improve not only their grades, but their fluency as well.

Approach

I like to find out what the student is interested in and incorporate more of that material in Spanish so that they stay interested. I usually start out the session with a list of 15 new words that pertain to what they are interested in or that they are currently studying so they can constantly increase their knowledge of vocabulary. I then incorporate a video or audio to aid the student in reading and listening comprehension. We then end the session with a grammar topic and a worksheet to practi
