Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is I love to help others anyway i can. I started a project called "project feed the homeless." Project Feed the Homeless is a two day event. In the past two years, I have been able to feed over 5000+ homeless people on the streets of Washington DC to the inner cities of Baltimore.

About Me

I am a junior Computer/Electrical Engineering major at Morgan State University. This summer I plan to get some cyber security certifications. I graduate May 2018. After, graduation I plan to work full time while perusing my masters.

Experience

I have tutored many kids and for many programs. While a math tutor for Advancing Minorities in Engineering (AMIE) Tutorial Program I was able to • assist students in Mathematics and help cultivate interest in science and engineering. That resulted in increased the mathematics skill proficiency of middle school students in preparation for the Maryland State Mathematics Proficiency Examination and prepared high school students for the SAT.

Approach

Growing up I had multiple problems retaining information and learning. I found my passion in math by the 4th grade. i love numbers and can solve almost every problem put in my face. I always say "you have not learned something until you can teach it to someone else." I have learned a lot about math a numbers so it is very easy for me to explain it to others. Most people learn by example but do not learn the concept behind the example. I can teach that!
