I love sports and traveling! I have been to over 20 countries and love to share my experiences. My favorite things to do are go to the beach, play soccer, and play with kids. Also, my favorite color is purple :)
About Me
I just finished sophomore year at maryland">Loyola University Maryland. I am a science/maryland/baltimore">computer science major and math double major. I hope to continue on to graduate school and earn a teaching degree! I hope that someday I will work in computational medicine and become a teacher!
Experience
In high school, as volunteer for the National Honor Society, I tutored high school students and middle school students. I mostly tutored in maths and english. I have also nannied and babysat my whole life and love working with kids. Tutoring in the past has been great practice to be a teacher some day and has taught me a lot about how to keep students intrigued and focussed.
Approach
My whole childhood I watched my mom be an outstanding Spanish teacher. She showed me the dedication and creativity that teaching required in order for students to learn in the most enjoyable way. I hope that as tutor I will be able to display these qualities. I hope that I can show students that learning can be fun and with the effort, results are possible.

Calculus I Tutoring
I took Calculus I as a Junior in High School. I received an A in the class. The following year I took Calculus II and I have continued on with higher level math in college and the skills have been used throughout my major and add to my minor in math.
Spanish I Tutoring
I have taken Spanish classes for the past 5 years. In high school I completed Spanish I - AP Spanish, receiving an A average every year. In college I took Spanish Reading and Literature. I have also done a foreign exchange program and lived in Spain where I was able to practice.

I took Algebra I in middle school and followed it with Algebra II as a Sophomore. I have continuously used them throughout my education. As a math minor, I use algebra daily. It is very applicable in my Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Computer Science courses in college. In addition, I have tutored this subject to both middle and high school students in the past.

I took Algebra I in middle school and followed it with Algebra II as a Sophomore. I have continuously used them throughout my education. As a math minor, I use algebra daily. It is very applicable in my Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Computer Science courses in college. In addition, I have tutored this subject to both middle and high school students in the past.
Calculus Tutoring
I took preCalculus as a Junior in High School. I received an A in the class.The following year I took BCCalculus which consisted of Calculus I and II, where I also earned an A and I have continued on with higher level math in college and the skills have been used throughout my major.
Geometry Tutoring
I took Geometry as freshman in high school. It was one of my favorite math classes I have ever taken and I received an A in the class. Geometry is used in every day life as well as in my math courses in high school and college. In addition, I have tutored Geometry to three different high school students in the past.

As a math minor in college, I have taken many math courses over the years. I have successfully received As in Algebra I and II, Geometry, and Calculus I and II. I have also tutored many students in these areas.
