Calculus I Tutoring

I have tutored many students in Calculus I both independently and as a member of the UMBC math tutoring center, and my students have done very well in their Calculus courses. I have also helped students study for the CLEP Calculus Exam which I myself passed with a high score. As a math major, many of my upper level classes required a firm knowledge of calculus and those classes helped give me a more thorough understanding of the subject.

Calculus 2 Tutoring

I did receive an 'A' when I took Calculus II in school, but I have found that teaching it to others has given me an even more thorough understanding of the subject. As a math major, many of my upper level classes required a firm knowledge of calculus and those classes helped give me a more better understanding of the subject as well.

College Algebra Tutoring

I have helped many students with College Algebra over the years, including students that needed help studying for a college placement exam. As a math major, nearly all of my college courses required a firm knowledge of Algebra. As the backbone of all higher level mathematics, Algebra remains one of my favorite subjects to teach.

Elementary Statistics Tutoring

I have tutored many students in Statistics over the years, many of whom were college or even graduate students, and my students have done very well in their Statistics courses. I have also helped many students work on statistics projects that require statistical software to help analyze data. My Bachelors in Math from UMBC included a Concentration in Actuarial Science which includes a handful of upper-level courses in statistics, and I was able to earn an 'A' in all of those statistics courses.
