Fun Facts
I was born in India, but I spent the past 20+ years in America. I am multi-lingual! I was the President of Sigma Pi Sigma (the Society of Physics Students), the Korean Student Association, and the National Society of Black Engineers back in University. This experience helped me to understand different cultures and work with a range of people.
About Me
I attended St. Louis University to obtain a BS in Physics and Engineering Mathematics. I started as a double major in Computer Science and Physics major on the pre-health track, but after three years then decided it was not the path for me. I switched my Computer Science major to a minor and finished the pre-health track but decided to take a break before pursuing graduate school. This gave me a solid foundation in STEM, focusing mostly on Math and Physics. My ultimate goal is to swim with sharks and use my degrees to observe and preserve marine life!
Experience
I have tutored professionally throughout high school, working both as a freelancer and at an establishment. At University, I was a Teaching Assistant for the Pre-Health Physics I & II classes and the Engineering Physics I & II labs, as well as the department's MCAT tutor for the physics portion.
Approach
My main approach is to help students focus on their own strengths in order to learn and implement skills needed for better studying habits! I like to use various methods of learning (auditory, visual, kinetic) as well as the different resources available through Frog Tutoring.
