My favorite courses at college were organic chemistry and biology II and I did well in those two classes as well. Farsi is my native language I believe I can be a good tutor for that.

About Me

I am a sophomore majoring in Biology at Georgia State University. I've been on the Dean's List for all 3 semesters that I attended GSU. My goal is to become an orthodontist and to get into Tufts dental school of Boston. I have a 3.88 GPA at the moment and I'm in Honors college.

Experience

I haven't start working as a tutor professionally (yet!) but in college, I always help my friends get ready for the tests by helping them study. my other experiences: I've shadowed two dentists for about 100 hours last summer. Right now I'm focusing on my leadership skills and experiences and I'm the president of the Persian Student Association organization at GSU. i'm starting doing research in the environmental microbiology field this summer in my biology professors's lab.

Approach

I moved to the US 4 years ago and I remember English was my major weakness.I was struggling not only with my english courses, but also with everything else since all of my courses were taught in a new language that I wasn't familiar with. Getting good grades and being successful was always my priorities; I remember nights that I stayed up to translate every single word back to my native language and study hard to do well in school. I ended up graduating high school with a 3.9 GPA and with honors
