Fun Facts
I love to read. During the summers I like to see how many books I can read, and try to beat the record from the summer before. I have played multiple different sports from grade school to high school ranging from softball to swimming. My cat is my pride and joy. A lot of my free time is spent playing with him.
About Me
I have a bachelors in Earth Science Education with a minor in geology from the
University of Arizona. After graduating I moved to the Caribbean and in my spare time earned my masters in Environmental Policy and Management from the denver">University of Denver. I completed a fellowship at the U.S. Department of Energy and then moved on to teach middle school science.

Approach
Being positive and hopeful makes all of the difference when teaching. While students may struggle, it is important to stay positive so that they will continue to try because there is an end in sight. I found that when I would struggle with a subject, teachers who were hopeful were more motivating.

I have tutored this area the most in my career. Since high school, I have been tutoring at least one client in algebra or pre algebra.

I have a lot of experience in math. Throughout high school and college I have stayed active in continuing my math education.

I have just recently became certified to teach middle school science. I have my bachelors in science as well.
