About Me
I was born in Simi Valley, California were I lived until in fifth grade when my parents relocated for work to clovis">Clovis, California. This past summer I graduated from Fresno State with my BA in History and I also completed my AA in Social Science from reedley-college">Reedley College. I am now attending Fresno State in single subject teaching credential program with an area focus of social science. I have been married for the last five years to my loving wife Amber and I have a three year old dog named Neutrino.
I have done some fresno">tutoring in the fields of math and social science. Mostly these fresno">tutoring sessions have been either in preparation for an up coming test or broad strokes over view of some area of history. I found that most of the people that I tutored benefited from our time together.
I think all student benefit from one on one fresno">tutoring because it offers a more tailor approached in which students have more opportunists to ask questions and take part in a conversation. I would tend to say that I focus most on conversing about what a student knows of a subject and then push the subject matter from there to expand in to areas the student is less familiar with. I believe using this method a student can grow their knowledge from a familiar place while expanding their knowledge base in an effective manner.
