About Me

I believe I am a good tutor because I enjoy helping students achieve their full academic potential. I listen to detailed directions and am able to give instructions at length in order to assist the student in completing the necessary tasks. As the past President of the Pierce College Chapter of The National Society of Leadership & Success Club, I believe I am a great leader. I am reliable and function on high integrity, sticking to my word. Currently I have availability.so please reach out.

Experience

My past tutoring experience includes working for various professional tutoring companies, as well as having personal tutored peers while in college.
My past teaching experience includes being an after schoolteacher at Hesby Oaks Elementary, teaching and guiding student's grades K-5. I have also been a Substitute Teacher for Elementary, Jr. Highschool and Highschool.
Additionally, I was a professional notetaker in college for disabled students in a variety of classes.

Approach

As a tutor, I first need to understand the persons learning style. I then assess the subject matter and do additional research to ensure that I am knowledgeable and can assist. I like to leave each session with the understanding that the student comprehends what we have learned together and set a goal for future sessions.
