Fun Facts

One passion that people quickly learn about me is that I LOVE my job. I love working in the mental health field as well as continuing my love for teaching. I also enjoy my time in the mountains either hiking, skiing, or window shopping. I enjoy singing and have a very extensive music background. I live with my boyfriend and our soon to be pug puppy!

About Me

I am a senior (graduating in May) studying sociology at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. After hard work and dedication I am graduating a year early and with a rather high GPA. I hope to attend the Chicago School of Professional Psychology to earn my Masters in Adolescent Psychology. I hope to become a Licensed therapist.

Experience

I have tutored students for three years now. I was a nanny but also a tutor. I teach online homeschooling to students all over the world. Prior to this, I was a Early Childhood Education teacher where I taught infants through Kindergarten.

Approach

Often times, students can become discouraged when they are unable to understand the material that they are receiving from their classes. I have seen it in the students I have tutored as well as the kids in my class. I always go out of my way to help them find new creative ways that work for them. I want them to feel comfortable in their studies and understand it in the way that they learn best.

Child Development Tutoring

I have taken Child development as apart of my Early Childhood education degree. I have also experienced child development first hand while being a teacher.
