I was a NCAA division 1 athlete and swam at IU for 2 years. I then transferred to IUPUI and finished my last 2 years there.
About Me
I recently graduated from IUPUI with an IU degree. I majored in English with a minor in communications. I currently work in Human Resources and absolutely love it. I love working with and helping people.
Experience
I have been tutoring ever since I was in High School. I started off as an English tutor and from there I picked up other subjects. My senior year in HS, I tutored english, math, writing, and science. In college, I worked part-time tutoring for various different subjects.
Approach
As a child, I always loved helping people. Growing up I strive to help people whenever it deemed necessary. I decided to tutor because it gave me the ability to help students succeed.

Accounting Tutoring
I have taken all the business level classes of Accounting.
English Tutoring
I majored in English and received a 3.6 for my GPA in that major.
Literature Tutoring
During my English major we were required to take literature classes.

I tutored in reading comprehension and also took classes for this.
Study Skills Tutoring
As an athlete we mentored students who needed help with study skills.

Since I was an English major, writing was a huge part.

In order to graduate we had a minimum requirement of advance writing classes we had to take. I took extra, since I enjoyed them.

This is one of the areas that I tutored in. I was ahead in the math areas during highschool

I took this class in high school.

I tutored for students who needed help.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I took this class and tutored students within the class.
Math Tutoring
I was in advance math, so I tutored those who were behind.
Middle School Math Tutoring
I was above average in math for middle school.
Arts Tutoring
I took these classes and always got A's. Teacher would normally use mine as an example.
Elementary Math Tutoring
I was ahead in elementary for the math classes. I was in a mentoring group for the younger ages.
Microsoft Excel Tutoring
I took this business level class along with training. I am just about at the professional level of having a certificate for excel.

I use PP at work and create various visuals.
Microsoft Publisher Tutoring
I am a pro at this. We are using this at our work.

This is simple to use and easy to explain! :)

We have to be proficient at using this in school and at work. I excel very highly in this.

I was actually asked by the department head of History to double major in it.
