Fun Facts

I am passionate about music, animals, and working with children! I have a pet bunny rabbit and I play guitar. I also love to travel. I spent this past summer in Yosemite National Park hiking as Havana, Cuba. I was in Havana for two weeks studying the history and economic system of Cuba.

About Me

My name is Olivia and I'm from Phoenix Arizona. I came to Chicago to study English Lit and Early Childhood Education at DePaul University. I hope to eventually become a teacher in a spanish speaking country.

I have been a substitute teacher at Concordia Place since May 2013. Here, I assist with a preschool classroom. I have been a homework helper at a private catholic school St. Francis Xavier during 2010. I have also worked with children in Cuernavaca Mexico.

My approach to chicago">tutoring is giving guidance as well as chances to do work on their own to see how well the student is understanding the subject. Each student is different and I believe in getting familiar with their different study habits in order to create an approach that works better. I also really encourage questions!
