Fun Facts

I love to read! Some of my other favorite hobbies are scrapbooking and genealogy. So far, I have traced my ancestors back to the 1700's. Of course, what I really enjoy is being with my family. I have 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, and I'm going to be a great-grandmother soon.

About Me

I am a retired teacher with over 20 years experience. I have a B.S. in education from Ohio University and an ESL certification from Rowan College in Glassboro, N.J. Becoming a teacher was a dream come true!

Experience

I was a 4th and 5th Grade classroom teacher. I also taught 6th Grade Language Arts. I have taught ESL to both children and adults. I have tutored in both learning centers and privately.

Approach

I believe that by using the correct methodology, all students are able to reach their potential. My methods are eclectic and I am very passionate about my work.I am able to establish a good rapport with my students by using patience and humor.
